Students are introduced to programming using Microsoft Visual Basic.Net.  Emphasis is placed on fundamental programming concepts, including variables, decision structures, loops, procedures, arrays, classes and files.  This object oriented, event-driven approach to programming is taught with an emphasis on good programming style and filled with numerous real-world problems such as designing the interface to order pizzas, calculating payroll and creating games.
