I have been a GRACE parent for five years. My daughter, MaryMac, and my son, Jack attend GRACE. I also have a preschool daughter at home, Molly. I live in Cary with my husband, Sean. Our family attends First United Methodist Church in Cary.
I attended Meredith College here in Raleigh where I majored in Spanish and received a K-4 elementary teaching certificate and a K-6 Spanish teaching certificate. I worked as a Spanish teacher in Columbus County for one year and as a kindergarten and first grade teacher for seven years in the Wake County Public School System.
I have served as president of the board of the Methodist Children's Center and of the board of the Mothers Morning Out program at my church. I enjoy teaching Sunday School, substituting at my daughter's preschool, and volunteering at GRACE. I love education in all areas and on all levels.
