Julia Taylor is pleased to join the Grace staff as the new Curriculum Director. Julia and her family recently relocated to Cary, North Carolina from Corona, California to pursue a family-friendly, Christian environment in which to rear their two young children. Julia and her husband, Brian, have been married for eight years and have two daughters, Ava (3 ½) and Hannah (1).
Julia obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Law and Society from the University of California, Riverside, and her California Teaching Credential and Master’s degree in Education and Curriculum from Azusa Pacific University (Azusa, CA). Her background includes three years of elementary teaching experience in the California public school system, four years of teaching in a Christian school, and two years of serving as the elementary and junior high assistant principal at Capistrano Valley Christian School, working alongside her mentor, Don Payne.
For the past three years, Julia has been blessed to stay at home and serve in her most rewarding of roles: mother. For the past year and a half, she has also worked from home part-time for the non-profit foundation, e-Learning for Kids.
Julia is grateful that the Lord has led her family to Cary and Grace, and looks forward to the opportunity to both serve and become a part of the Grace family.
