I am privileged to call GRACE Christian School my home. My wife Tonya, (who teaches second grade at GRACE), and I have been here for five years. This is my seventh year as a teacher. I came to GRACE from Chattanooga, Tennessee, where I taught for two years.
I am involved in many things at GRACE. I am the assistant coach of the high school girls' basketball team, and the head coach of the middle school baseball team. I have a real passion for athletics, and I have high hopes for the future of our athletics program. This is my second year in the middle school (having taught fourth grade previously) and I am very excited for the opportunity.
Seventh grade Bible is a survey of the New Testament. Students will read the entire New Testament by the end of the year and learn key verses to help them form a Biblical Worldview. Eighth grade Bible is very exciting. We read two great books, The Case for Faith and The Case for Christ. We also begin to discuss what a Christian worldview should look like, and how the students can function in a world that is becoming increasingly anti-Christian.
I am originally from Carthage, North Carolina, which is about one hour south of Raleigh near Pinehurst.
