Biography for Ms. Debra Hentzell
8th, 10th, and 12th Language Arts
and College Writing
This will be my second year at Grace, and I am so excited to serve in this ministry. Our family lives in Clayton in Johnston County, and we have been in this area for sixteen years. I have twelve years of teaching experience, in addition to organizing home-schooling events, tutoring, and acting as a private achievement tester for several years. My Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education came from Hyles-Anderson College in Indiana, with minors in business, home economics, and Bible. I also obtained a Master’s Degree in Education and English and have earned my lifetime professional accreditation certificate with ACSI. Nathan, my oldest son who is 19 years old, is in his second year at the School of Communication Arts near Wake Forest. My youngest son Ben is 16 and is enrolled at Clayton High School in order to take some vocational courses offered by Johnston Community College. We attend Cornerstone Faith Fellowship in Clayton where I am involved in a ladies' Bible study. We have one cat, Precious, and one dog, Khodjo, a Rhodesian Ridgeback, who is a year and a half old. I am looking forward to a great future being part of the Grace family.
