Hi, I’m Robin Porter and I have been married to my husband, David, for fourteen years March 2009. Our son, John Wilson is a senior at GRACE. We attend Colonial Baptist Church. As a family, we enjoy the mountains and the beach as well as attending many of the outstanding athletic and fine art events in the area. Our family has been a part of GRACE for thirteen years.
Through the years, I have been involved in many different places at GRACE. This will be my tenth year as an employee; my seventh year teaching physical education. I am also starting my fourth year as head coach for the varsity girl’s volleyball team and I am an active member of the GRACE Athletic Boosters.
I attended Georgia Southern College (now University) where I earned my bachelors and masters degrees in physical education/health. The education I received and my work experience is the foundation that undergrids how I teach my classes at GRACE.
Teaching is always an adventure The job description can change in a flash and there is usually some unknown lurking around. I have come to realize that is what makes teaching exhausting but enjoyable. I look forward to meeting the new students and families that come to GRACE as well as continuing to watch the returning ones grow into God's plan for them.
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to be an influence in your child's life.
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men. Colossians 3:23
