I’m excited and blessed to be in my fifth year here at Grace. I teach physical education/health to 7th through 9th grade, and coach the varsity boys' soccer team. I also enjoy officiating basketball and playing the piano.
As for my background, I grew up in rural Pennsylvania and graduated from Penn State University with a B.S. in Exercise and Sport Science. Through my major, I was certified to teach physical education/health to grades K-12. After student teaching, I attended Temple University in Philadelphia and earned a M.Ed. in Sport and Recreation Administration. I moved to this area about five years ago and worked in the athletic department at NC State University and the Cary Family YMCA before the Lord led me to Grace. My beautiful wife, Jennie, and I were married in October 2003. We live in Apex and are members of Colonial Baptist Church.
I am thankful for being part of the ministry and family called Grace Christian School. I encourage you to read God's Word every day and be physically active at least every other day.
For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.
(I Timothy 4:8)
