Hello. My name is Ellen Kaehler, and I am the music teacher for students in grades three through twelve. I am currently in my eleventh year of teaching at GRACE after having been director of choral music at Athens Drive High School in Raleigh for ten years. I hold both the BM and MA degrees in music from Appalachian State University, and have taught piano and voice both privately and at ASU's Cannon Music Camp. At GRACE, I teach general music in grades three through five, Elementary Chorus in grades three through five, and Vocal music in grades six through twelve. I live in Knightdale with my husband, two children, and one very spoiled Cairn Terrier. We are experiencing a number of changes in our arts department this year.  With the middle school and high school having separate electives, our ensembles are going to look somewhat smaller this year.  The exciting part is that this will allow us to grow in a positive direction as our school grows.  I am looking forward to working with all of our wonderful students.
