Hi! I am Paula Green. This is my eighth year teaching kindergarten at GRACE and my fourteenth year of teaching. I love being a teacher and I especially love working with little children. This is truly what I feel the Lord called me to do. As I watch my own children grow, I have come to realize how important these early years are; this is when the foundation is layed for the rest of their lives.
I am originally from Tennessee and I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from East Tennessee State University. I am currently working toward ACSI certification.
I have been married for 20 years. My husband enjoys serving as a volunteer, coaching the boys varsity basketball team and our children attend school at GRACE. We as a family invest much of our time here and we enjoy being a part of the GRACE family.
Kindergarten is lots of fun. We learn to read in kindergarten. We also learn about people, animals, and countries on each continent of the World. We work toward becoming independent and responsible students. We start each day with our Bible lesson, which is my favorite part of the day. Every thing that we learn in kindergarten hinges upon the greatest commandments that our Savior gave us: " Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind." ... " And love your neighbor as yourself." Kindergarten is the best year!
