Art (Middle/ High School)
In Beginning Art, each student will use art as a means of self-expression by creating two-dimensional works showing both perspective and proportion while exploring new art media or combinations of media. They will learn art theory terms and use them to critique art - including work they create themselves, work done by their peers and the work of famous artists. Also, there is the unique opportunity for a collaborative project as the class recreates a famous work of art; each student will work on one section.
