I'm so excited to be a part of the amazing GRACE family this year. I am the Learning Differences Specialist and came on board in April, 2011. I began collaborating with teachers and administrators at that time to put together our new Learning Enrichment and Achievement Program (LEAP). The program launched this year and has gotten off to a great start! I feel so thankful and blessed to be afforded this wonderful opportunity.

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bob Jones University and a Masters of Education in Community Counseling from Clemson University. I have worked for the Greenville County Special Needs Board and with Mecklenburg County Children's Developmental Services as an Education Specialist. I have always had a desire to work with individuals with special needs and learning differences. I also have a natural love for Christian education as my dad was a Christian school administrator, and my mom was an elementary teacher.

I have been married to my husband, Mike, for 14 years, and we have two boys. Ethan is five and is in Kindergarten at GRACE, and Logan is a very active two-year-old. I have seen first hand how different children can be, as my boys are very opposite in personality. I have also seen how differently they learn. My goal for this program is to work with each child individually, knowing their unique learning styles and working to support them in whatever ways they need so that they can reach their fullest potential each year.
