¡Hola! I was born and raised in El Salvador. At age eighteen, I moved to the U.S. to attend college in Florida.  I have been a Spanish teacher since 2005, and I have also served as a youth ministries director.

I enjoy working with students. Two of the most influential people in my life were my two high school English teachers. One was there for me at a time I needed a friend, the other influenced me to become a teacher.

Presently, I am leading a Bible study in Spanish at my church, which helps me reconnect with my native language and my culture.

My wife's name is Amy. She's from Delaware. We have been married since August of 2005.  We love being here in Raleigh. ¡Mucho gusto!
