I am excited to be starting my fifth year (2011-2012) at GRACE as the Library/Media Services Coordinator. I graduated from the University of Michigan with B.A. in English and M.I.L.S. in library science and earned a NC teaching license. I have over 28 years of experience in a variety of libraries in Michigan and North Carolina.

My husband is a computer science professor at NC State. We are the parents of 3 children who attend GRACE Christian School. Our family is active at our church, Cary Alliance, where I work with elementary students during summer camps and lead an AWANA Bible Study small group during the school year.

This past spring (2011), it was my privilege to be part of a short-term mission trip to Moscow, RUSSIA. The experience of leaving my family behind for 10 days in order to serve the missionary families in Moscow was one that I shall always remember.

I want to encourage reading and learning in children of all ages. I look forward to helping your children to discover the world of information, and to develop a lifetime love of learning.

It will be a pleasure to teach and serve your children this year at GRACE! I am especially excited with the E4 initiative being rolled out this school year.
