I joined the GRACE Board in the Spring of 2009. This is my family's 11th year at GRACE. My daughter Rebecca graduated from GRACE in 2008. She is now attending Butler University in Indianapolis. My son Robert is a member of the class of 2012. My children have been richly blessed at GRACE through strong friendships with other GRACE students, personal interaction with GRACE teachers, and participation in the athletics and fine arts programs.
I came to North Carolina many years ago from Connecticut to attend Duke University. I graduated with a double major in Computer Science and Math. I enjoyed the South so much that I married a Southern boy and stayed in the warm weather. My husband, Ken, is from High Point and also graduated from Duke with a degree in Economics. I currently work at IBM as a Computer Programmer and Project Manager on the Retail Store Solutions custom services team. I attend Hope Community Church with my family and I serve in the Kid City ministry.
I am excited to be part of the GRACE Board where I can work with a great group of people to pursue GRACE's mission. The loving community atmosphere at GRACE has been a tremendous blessing to my family and I pray that it will be a blessing to all our GRACE families.
