Hello, My name is Ellen Kaehler and I am the choral music director for grades 3-12 and the general music teacher for grades 3-5. I am looking forward to beginning my fourteenth year at GRACE.

I received both my bachelor's and master's degrees in music from Appalachian State Univeristy. Before coming to GRACE, I taught for twelve years in the public schools in Wake County and started my family. I have been involved with the American Choral Directors Association as well as the North Carolina Music Educators' Association, and was secretary of the choral section of the association. I have taught private lessons in piano and voice, and was an instructor of piano at Cannon Music Camp at ASU for two years.

Currently, I am director of the youth choir at Edenton Street United Methodist Church. I live in Knightdale with my husband Larry, daughter Brittany who is 18, son Brad who is 15, and our Cairn Terrier, Angie. I look forward to working with all of you this year.
