Julia Taylor joined the GRACE staff as the Curriculum Director in the fall of 2007 after relocating to NC with her family from Southern California. Julia and Brian Taylor have been married for twelve years and have three children, Ava (7), a second grader at GRACE, Hannah (4), a preschooler at the Methodist Children's Center in Cary, and Zachary, age 1. The Taylor family attend Hope Community Church.

Julia obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Law and Society from the University of California, Riverside in 1995, and her Teaching Credential and Master's in Education with an emphasis on Curriculum and Instruction from Azusa Pacific University (Azusa, CA) in 1999. Her background includes eight years of public and Christian teaching experience and three years of administration as an elementary and junior high assistant principal. In addition to the school setting, Julia has also written curriculum for e-learning for Kids, a non-profit e-learning company that provides free education to children worldwide.
