When I was in sixth grade, I dreamed of becoming a ballerina in New York City. As you can guess, my dreams changed as I grew older. One of the things I love about teaching is dreaming with my students about where they will be and what they will achieve as they grow older.

My husband, Brandon, and I were married in January of 2008. I am still enjoying the early years of marriage and working to build a strong relationship with my husband. My husband and I enjoy traveling and good food, so we usually plan our vacations around regional cuisine. We don’t have any pets, we frequently perform funny dances for each other, and we hold slide-offs on our hardwood floors in our socks.

One of my favorite things to do with my time is to cook. I love the process of creating a finished dish out of a variety of ingredients. And it doesn’t hurt that I like to eat!

This is my fourth year teaching at GRACE, and I am excited for another awesome year!
