Dear GRACE Families,

Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year! I have had six wonderful years as the Band Direct at GRACE, and I am excited about beginning year seven.  This will be my 14th year teaching band.

We have several bands in our music program at GRACE. Band begins in 4th grade and can be taken all the way through high school. We have a pep band that plays at Friday night basketball games, and we added a Jazz Band three years ago that is amazing! We provide live music at several events throughout the school year, and 7th - 12th graders play at several community events. God had continued to bless our music department by sending us talented students with a heart for making music.

I attended East Carolina University where I received a Bachelor of Music in Music Education. Flute is my main instrument, and I play piano for most of Mrs. Kaehler's choral groups.

My husband, Brian, and I have been married for 12 years. We both grew up right here in Wake County. We are blessed to be surrounded by so much of our family. Our daughter, Isabella, is in 2ns grade in Mrs. Schnake's class. She loves GRACE as much as I do! We live in Fuquay-Varina and attend Calvary Chapel in Apex.
