My husband, Marty, and I have two daughters, Rachael and Skylar, who are currently in the 7th grade at GRACE.

I am the Elementary School Kitchen Coordinator for GRACE. I enjoy this position because it allows me to work with the entire GRACE family: parents, students, faculty and staff. Lunch should always be a time of enjoyment. It's a time when everyone gets to set aside the demands of everything else and simply enjoy the fellowship and laughter. I love working with children, and seeing those sweet faces everyday at lunch just makes my day. I have always enjoyed serving others, especially in the food service capacity. Long ago, I managed a delicatessen in N.Y. and absolutely loved making my customers feel at home. Serving food is so much more than that-- it gives me an opportunity to encourage each life God brings me that day, and I love that. I have volunteered for the last seven years in my church kitchen, cooking for over 500 people each Wednesday night. The fellowship I receive and the satisfaction that I earn is the reward from a long day of chopping, dicing, and lifting hot and heavy pots and pans. I feel home in a kitchen. I suppose that is because at the heart of every home is a warm and welcoming kitchen, with a mother in the center, offering love and encouragement and a resting place to all who come. My goal is to make your child's lunch time a place much like home. It is a work in progress-- a work well worth the while!
