I am delighted to be part of the GRACE Crossroads community. As a veteran middle and high school teacher, I am pleased to serve GRACE Christian School. As the parent of a high school graduate of a Christian school, I can attest to the value of Christian education in a student’s life.
In addition to public school teaching experience, I have been associated with sister ACSI schools: Boca Raton Christian (FL) and Morrison Christian Academy, Bethany Campus (Taipei, Taiwan).
In 2008, I was part of the faculty who began with the opening of Crossroads Campus. As your Crossroads Campus Librarian, under the direction of GRACE Head Librarian, Mrs. Carol Gehringer, we offer a warm welcome to students, parents, and staff to the Media Center. We encourage suggestions of potential book and DVD titles for media acquisition to GRACE’s collection. Additionally, book and media gift items which meet GRACE guidelines are received gratefully. GRACE subscribes to numerous magazines; we receive additional gift subscriptions with thanks. The GRACE Christian Upper Campus library is open M-F until 5:00 PM. You may call the library directly after office hours at 747-2020 x112. Our library is enhanced by middle and high school students volunteering as Library Aides during an elective period.
As sponsor of our National Beta Club, I work with the Beta's community service monthly Saturday morning outings open to all students in grades 7-12. Our efforts currently help New Life Camp, Brown Bag Ministry, Raleigh Rescue Mission, and gleaning for the Society of St. Andrew. In addition, Betas sponsor a campus tutoring program.
