History:  History of Our World: The Early Ages (Prentice Hall); e-book format utilized
Science:  Life Science (Prentice Hall); e-book format utilized
Physical education/ health

  • School Success course
  • Novel readings include The Bronze Bow, A Wrinkle in Time, Tales From Shakespeare, Phantom Tollbooth. Emphasis on writing paragraphs to describe and to persuade; character analysis; point of view; personal narrative; research paper; and creative writing
  • Two elective choices: Vocal Ensemble, Art, Computer, Irish Dance, Spanish, Band, Theater
  • MacBooks provided to all students for school and home use

 

SEVENTH GRADE

Physical education/health

  • Novel readings include Little Women; Swiss Family Robinson; The Giver. Emphasis on writing narrative paragraphs, personal letter, point of view paper, research paper, and how-to-paper.
