Public Speaking (High School)
This course will introduce students to basic techniques and categories of public speaking. Students learn about demonstration, informative, persuasive, and other kinds of speeches. Students also learn about dramatic readings such as interpretation of literature, reader's theater, and humorous interpretation. The ACSI Speech Meet in the spring semester gives students opportunity to learn from a variety of other students and to perform for a larger audience.
