Hi! I am Paula Green. I love being a teacher and working with children. As I watch my own children grow, I have come to realize how important these early years are; this is when the foundation is laid for the rest of their lives.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from East Tennessee State University. I currently hold a NC and an ACSI teaching certificate. I have been married for 24 wonderful years and my husband is the boys Varsity coach here at GRACE. Our family enjoys being a part of the GRACE family.

Having taught in public school as well as at GRACE, it is a delight to be able to share my faith with the children. I believe we are commanded to share our faith in every aspect of our lives. This is why Christian education is so important. In Deuteronomy 6:4-9 the Lord instructs us “Hear, O Israel: ‘The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the door frames of your houses and on your gates.’” What a joy it is to know that I have been entrusted to help train up the next generation in the way of the Lord. It is my prayer that these children will go from GRACE ready to serve the Lord where he calls them with a sound foundation in Him and in His ways.
