Hey, my name is Sherri Lunsford and I have been a Teaching Assistant here at GRACE for 15 years. I originally started out in first grade, then graduated to second.

I have also been a parent at GRACE. I have four children and my oldest son came to GRACE in 1984. All my children attended GRACE for elementary school and when my youngest started kindergarten, I came to GRACE as an assistant.

I have lived in Raleigh, North Carolina all of my life and after graduating high school I attended East Carolina University then Hardbarger Jr. College. I have been married for 31 years to my husband Garry and I am a grandmother to two beautiful grandchildren, Hudson and Addison Grace. Also, my oldest daughter, after graduating from Meredith College, came back to GRACE to teach middle and high school math. She has since retired and become a full time mother.

I feel God has called me to this position so I can impact the lives of these young children for Christ. I also enjoy serving and working along side my teachers and parents to help create a loving, caring and godly atmosphere for our children to learn not only information they will need to become an effective citizen in their community, but to help equip them to serve God in whatever capacity they are called.
