Advancement Events

Everything we call "ours" in this world really belongs to God. After supporting your local church, we ask you to prayerfully consider whether God is calling you to share some of the resources with which you have been blessed with GRACE Christian School. Helping to equip tomorrow's leaders with academic excellence from a biblical worldview is a gift that honors our Creator and has eternal implications.

GRACE Christian School receives no financial support from federal, state, or local governments. Additionally, as a non-denominational and independent school, we receive no church subsidies. Our entire budget is funded solely through the tuition and fees paid by our GRACE families.

All financial contributions are greatly appreciated and will have a direct impact on the lives of children. GRACE Christian School is a 501c3 organization, so all gifts are tax deductible. Our federal tax ID number is available upon request to our donors.

Gifts of all kinds are welcome, including cash, property, and securities. Additionally, there are many forms of planned giving (such as bequ ests, trusts, and annuities) that may be explored.

Advancement Events

There are two events each school year coordinated by the Office of Advancement.  These are the Fall Banquet and the Chairman’s Cup Golf Outing in the spring.  These events are a great way to meet other friends of GRACE as we celebrate God’s continued hand of blessing on GRACE Christian School.  Large scale events like these, also, provide a way to invite others from outside our school family to come and hear how GRACE is fulfilling its mission of equipping, challenging and inspiring students to impact the world for Christ.

Annual Autumn Auction

In 2012, GRACE will break with tradition and move the auction from a themed banquet to an on-line event.  Taking advantage of our wired community makes this choice a natural fit with our E4 technology initiative.  Visit to see our wonderful auction site.  Bidding will begin on November 1, 2012 and close on November 14, 2012.  From October 10, 2012 until the auction opens, bidders can view the preview site.

In prior year, GRACE has hosted an annual Fall Banquet where we have gathered to celebrate a new school year and all the wonderful things God is doing through GRACE Christian School.  These events featured keynote speakers who have heard God’s call on their lives and have passionately responded to that call.

In 2008, we welcomed David Robinson, NBA superstar and Christian philanthropist, who founded The Carver Academy, a private faith-based school of excellence for disadvantaged children of low-income families in San Antonio, Texas.  David enthralled us with his passionate testimony and stories about the challenges he faced while living out his faith as an NBA superstar.

The 2009 Fall Banquet welcomed Larry Jones, president and founder of Feed the Children, an international hunger relief organization.  Speaking on the parable of the Good Samaritan, Larry challenged everyone in attendance to see all people as “neighbors” and to reach out in compassion to all who suffer from hunger, poverty or natural disaster.  We also incorporated a silent auction, which was well-received and added to the fun of the evening.

Our 2010 Fall Banquet included heavy hor d'oeuvres, a silent auction, and a lively Cruise theme. The event raised over $26,000 that went to benefit our Capital Fund. With the Capital Fund, we would be able to increase our elementary playground, add a Crossroads Campus gym, and much much more!

The Fall Banquet for the 2011 school year brought about heel kickin' fun as we celebrated with a Hoedown. We had BBQ, a live and silent auction, and line dancing to round out the evening! Thank you to all of our donors and contributors that made the event so successful!

Chairman’s Cup Golf Outing

The GRACE Chairman’s Cup Golf Outing promises to be a much anticipated event every year.  March is the best time of year for an event of this kind, with the weather warming and every golfer looking forward with hope and anticipation to a new season.  Because this event is held at the prestigious Prestonwood Country Club, which has multiple golf courses, there is tremendous opportunity to expand this event in the years to come.  Golfers of all abilities are welcome as the Captain’s choice format makes it enjoyable for all.

The Chairman’s Cup Outing is actually a tournament within a tournament, as teams and individuals compete for prizes as in any other golf tournament.  However, all former GRACE Board Chairmen are encouraged to enter their own foursomes to play for the prized Chairman’s Cup trophy and bragging rights for the ensuing year.
