Welcome Message
Welcome to GRACE Christian School's website. Our site is designed to introduce our school to families who are seeking an academically rigorous K-12 program taught from a Christian worldview. Our website, also, serves as a significant communication tool for our current school families.
For the 2010-2011 school year, GRACE has an enrollment of approximately 525 students. We have seen excellent annual growth over the last several years, and we continue to experience God's blessing on our ministry. GRACE has just received a five year term of accreditation from SACS/CASI, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools/Council on Accreditation and School Improvement and ACSI, the Association of Christian Schools International. We also have been granted entrance into the Carolina Christian Conference and the NCISAA, the North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association. These recognitions are a testament to the professionalism, dedication and hard work of our faculty and staff, students and parents.
"GRACE Christian School is a loving community that spiritually and academically equips, challenges, and inspires students to impact their world for Christ." Our Mission Statement indicates that as an educational institution we are committed to preparing our students academically to enter into an excellent college or university of their choice upon high school graduation. We strive to develop students that are mature, highly educated, life-long learners who will lead and impact their world. In the elementary years, teachers emphasize experiential learning that involves many field trips, class demonstrations and labs. Our college prep program, which includes advanced placement courses, honors classes, college seminars and college writing classes is designed to prepare our middle and high school students to excel in a high quality academic environment.
As a Christian school, we endeavor to encourage our students to grow in their personal walk with Jesus Christ. GRACE is a loving community that genuinely cares for each and every student in a personal manner. Here, every student has worth and value. Our academic, fine arts, athletic and social programs are designed to challenge and inspire our students to develop their God-given gifts and talents as they develop into the young men and women God has designed them to be.
