Hey there!
My name is Isaiah Whelpley and this will be my second full year at GRACE. In the first semester of the 2009-2010 school year I was able to meet many of the students as a substitute teacher and was hired full-time in the second semester. My first semester was not easy, but the students at GRACE have gripped my heart. This is the second year that I will be teaching 9th Bible, 7th History, 11th History, 12th History, and the Chapel Elective.
I recieved my Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies and taught at Southlands Christian Schools in Walnut, California from 2005 to 2009. I am currently working toward my Masters in Education at Azusa Pacific University.
My wife, Kat, also teaches at GRACE as one of the kindergarten teachers on the Raleigh campus. Kat and I sensed God calling us from sunny southern California to North Carolina to help with a new church plant. Early on we knew God would provide jobs for us and have been incredibly encouraged and blessed by the GRACE community! I am looking forward to challenging, equiping, and praying for the students. My greatest desire is for the GRACE students and their families to have a radical revelation of God's life-altering love.
