Grandparents' Day Information

Grandparents’ Day Information

Our campus is buzzing with activity as we are preparing the way for our grandparents to join us for our annual Grandparents‘ Day on Friday, October 12th. Grandparents will begin the day at Hope Community Church with light refreshments being served at 8:00am, program following at 9:00am and classroom visits beginning after the program at both campuses.

Morning Drop-Off Instructions for Parents

Parents, please use the carpool line on Grandparents’ Day and keep foot traffic to a minimum as the parking lot will be very busy with grandparents arriving for the program.

Parking Instructions for Grandparents

Parking is available for grandparents at both campuses and shuttle buses will run between campuses. Please allow extra time for arrival, parking and shuttling in order to arrive by the 9:00am program.

  • If you have a handicap placard, we encourage you to park at our 801 Buck Jones Road Campus. Please put your hazard lights on when you turn into our property so that we may direct you to an appropriate parking space. We will have golf carts to assist you from your car to the main entrance.
  • If mobility is not an issue and you have a grandchild in 7th-12th grade, please park at the 1101 Buck Jones Road Campus. The shuttle will depart from the front of the Upper Campus building — look for the orange tent! You will be dropped of at the main entrance to enjoy the program and then you can return to the Upper Campus via bus after the program concludes.

Student Dismissal

Don’t forget that Friday is a half day and students can be dismissed with their grandparents with a note to your student’s teacher (lower campus) or a note to on the upper campus.

Live Streaming

If you are unable to join us on Friday and would like to see the program, you may watch online at GRACE Live Stream. The live stream will commence at 9:00am when the program begins.
