Christmas Greetings 2018

Christmas Greetings 2018

It’s truly beginning to look a lot like Christmas; in the last week we’ve had several Christmas concerts and performances and, of course, our mid-winter snow earlier this week.

We are excited to send you our 2018 Christmas Video Card — if we were to buy a card in the store, we would want it to convey that the significance of this season is not the pretty bows, decorated trees, and holiday songs, but the truth that God loved us so much that He sent His only Son to earth to provide a way for us to be restored to Him. Christ is the foundation of the mission of GRACE Christian School and what better way for us to celebrate Christmas than to tell the greatest story ever told. On behalf of the entire staff of GRACE Christian School, I invite you to pause for a few minutes (five to be exact) and hear this amazing story in the words of our youngest students. Meanwhile, at the upper campus, students in our brand new Video Editing elective class have been working on their own Christmas video project. Their video demonstrates, in two minutes and twenty seconds, our having-fun-together GRACE community. In this video, you will see students who span a spectrum of ages and interests all participating together and clearly having a good time doing it. There are students who were new to the GRACE community four months ago and students who have been here since kindergarten, students who are athletes and those who have never been part of a sports team, theatre students, computer science students, middle school students, and high school students all having fun for this one project. And finally, the GRACE staff has been working at putting together a list of our favorite Christmas traditions together to share with you. We hope that this list of things to do, places to go, and ideas for family Christmas celebrations is one that you will find helpful in making this season one where you and your family can celebrate the birth of our Savior. From all of us at GRACE Christian School, we wish you a Christmas season filled with the joy and wonder that comes from knowing the true meaning for the celebration. May Jesus be the center of your Christmas
