October 22, 2019 | Amazing GRACE

This is our last week of the GRACE Annual Fund. We want you to be a part of All families. All in.

The donations we receive through the Annual Fund allow us to make improvements across our two campuses. For 2019-2020, we would like to use Annual Fund contributions toward projects such as:

  • New bus
  • Security fence around Upper Campus
  • Lower Campus classroom renovations
  • Upper Campus greenhouse
  • Lower Campus outdoor classroom
  • Shade canopy for Lower Campus playground
  • New instructional technologies
  • Apple TVs for classrooms

To make GRACE as affordable as possible for our families, we do not build in extra costs to our tuition to cover the above items. We rely on the generosity of our community to help us meet these goals. We ask for you to prayerfully consider partnering with us to help make these needed improvements to our school. Make your donation today by clicking here.

We hope all our GRACE grandparents are able to join us for this year’s Grandparents’ Day on Friday, October 25th at Hope Community Church (821 Buck Jones Road). Grandparents can arrive at 8:00 a.m. for light refreshments, and the program will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. Grandparents are invited to visit the children’s classrooms after the program. For those unable to attend, you can view the program online

Parking is available at both campuses, and we will run shuttle buses between campuses. If a grandparent has a grandchild in 7th-12th grade, please park at the 1101 Buck Jones Road Campus. If a grandparent has a handicap placard, we encourage grandparents to park at the 801 Buck Jones Road Campus. Grandparents should put their hazard lights on when turning into school property so that they can be directed to an appropriate parking space.

After the classroom visits, students may be dismissed with their grandparents. Grandparents can RSVP by October 22 to Melissa Hendges at 919-747-2020 ext. 1014 or mhendges@gracechristian.net. We look forward to a great time with a vital part of our GRACE community.

GRACE 4th Graders had a blast visiting downtown Raleigh last week. The students were able to not only get on the House floor, but also meet with two current representatives and sit in their chairs!

Last week our 6th Graders had a wonderful time together at the 6th Grade Spiritual Retreat – an overnight trip to Camp Caraway in Sofia, NC.
