REMEMBERING MR. DAVID MARTIN
This week, GRACE would like all of our families to take a moment to celebrate the life of Mr. David Martin who passed away on Sunday, November 3rd – just several weeks after his beloved wife, Mrs. Marilyn Martin. For all who knew him, Mr. Martin was a dedicated servant of Christ – kind, compassionate and generous. GRACE is a better school because of the influence and investment of the Martins. We will miss the sight of the Martins at GRACE school and sporting events, but we rejoice in the knowledge that David and Marilyn are together in Heaven, rejoicing and worshiping at the foot of the Savior they served so well on Earth.
Please keep the entire Martin family in your prayers.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
If they haven’t already, your student will be coming home with an empty shoebox for Operation Christmas Child. Please fill your boxes and take some time to pray over them (and the children who will receive them) as a family. GRACE will collect the filled boxes during the national collection week.
The Upper Campus will collect boxes on Wednesday, November 20th, while the Lower Campus will collect theirs on Friday, November 22nd. We will have a special time in chapel dedicating the boxes we collected. The goal for the Lower Campus is to collect 425 boxes!
LOVE A GOOD PARTY? WE NEED YOU!
GRACE is hosting the fifth annual Celebrate GRACE event on February 28, 2020, and we’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our planning team to make this event a huge success. You can help the school by serving on one of our committees: auction, table hostesses, decorations, hospitality, and event day volunteers.
Planning meetings are scheduled for Tuesday, November 12 at 8:30 am and 2:00 pm in the Upper Campus Administrative Conference Room. Please join us at one of the initial meetings or email Michele Bandy at MBandy@gracechristian.net if you’re unable to attend but interested in volunteering. Thank you for considering one of the ways you can support the school through volunteering your time. Celebrate GRACE Planning Meeting signup
