GET READY TO CELEBRATE GRACE
Who is ready to enjoy fun and fellowship at this year’s Celebrate GRACE? Our annual fundraising dinner will be held on February 28th at Cypress Manor (across the street from Upper Campus). More details are to follow but don’t forget to mark it in your calendar. Anyone interested in helping with the event can contact Michele Bandy at email@example.com.
This year, our annual Play4Kay fundraiser will take place on Friday, January 24th as we host Cary Christian for a night of celebration, commemoration, and coming together as one community to fight against cancer. GRACE Christian has become one of the biggest contributors to this national foundation through our continued hosting of this annual event. Together, we can make this year the biggest one yet!
Now is the time to go purchase your tickets for this event! To receive this year’s special edition Play4Kay Vintage t-shirt, you must order your tickets by December 20th. For $12, you will receive both your ticket and t-shirt. Go to this link to get your tickets and t-shirts and donate to the Play4Kay foundation: https://www.gracechristian.net/athletics/play4kay/
In addition to coming together as a community to support our basketball teams, honor cancer survivors, remember those who have fought and donate to an incredible cause, you can also volunteer in many ways during the night. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you are willing to volunteer in any capacity.
GRACE’S SCHOOL PROFILE
Have you ever wondered how colleges compare the high school experience of different applicants? A key part of the process is using each high school’s “profile” to interpret the transcript. The GRACE School Profile is sent with every transcript to every college as a way of assisting in the process of evaluating our students’ academic accomplishments. This document is a great overview of the GRACE mission, culture, and values along with key academic information and we invite all GRACE families to look through it.
TK-5th Grade Parents, don’t forget to send in $2 with your student by December 12th marked “Christmas Store!” There are still a few slots open for volunteers to help run the store. If you’d like to sign up, please click here.
During the hustle and bustle of Christmas shopping, don’t forget: now’s a great time to place your order for your GRACE 2019-2020 yearbook. To order, go to www.jostensyearbooks.com and search GRACE Christian in Raleigh, NC. You know you’re at the right place when you see the Grace Eagle!
DON’T FORGET TO RE-ENROLL
If you haven’t already, don’t forget to re-enroll your student for the 2020-2021 school year. Enrollment is now open to the general public, and many of the classes are beginning to fill up. Have an enrollment question? Please email email@example.com.
PLEASE CHECK LOST AND FOUND
We still have a number of items in the Lost and Found! Please make sure your student checks the lost and found for any missing items. Check out this video of some of the items we have found on Lower Campus.

Congratulations to Mrs. Dunning’s seventh grade STEM class for placing first in the nation in the FBI’s Safe Online Surfing Internet Challenge. This year, 2,160 schools participated in the competition that promotes internet safety and tests student awareness of online threats. Mrs. Dunning’s students placed first nationally for schools of our size. Special Agent Jessica Nye came to campus to present a certificate and gifts to Mr. Bradley, Mrs. Dunning, and the students.
GRACE’s Seniors spent the day volunteering with Operation Christmas Child.
