HOST FAMILIES NEEDED!

New Oasis International Education is looking for families willing to open their homes to our brave students who have traveled all the way from China to study.  New Oasis seeks to build an excellent pool of available families that meet their standards for hosting for GRACE Christian School. These standards include having an available private bedroom, the ability to provide transportation for the student, and of course, a supportive, caring, and safe home environment. While hosting a student, families can expect:
– a local, dedicated New Oasis student coordinator
– monthly stipend of $1100/month to cover the cost of the international student’s food, transportation, family entertainment, and basic toiletries
– partner school support
– complete academic support provided by a New Oasis academic coordinator

The process to become a host family is simple. First, contact your local program coordinator Stephanie Moore at smoore@tbiedu.com with any questions you may have and to learn more about the program. When you are ready to begin this exciting journey, complete your application by going to this link: https://hostapplication.tbiedu.com/application.

SCHOOL SNAPSHOT

Check out some of our teachers feeling festive this Christmas season! Looking good, everyone!

Last week, our GRACE PTF baked treats for our teachers and staff as part of the annual Jingle Jangle! We’d like to thank all our parent volunteers who do so much to care for us.

Parents, see this note below, shared with permission from TK teacher Mrs. Murphy:

Wonderful PTF,

I was excited about today’s cookie exchange going into work and expected the workroom only to have a few plates of yummy treats. Instead, I was surprised and ecstatic to find TWO rooms with huge tables FULL of treats and goodies! I cannot tell you what a blessing this was to me! This is my first year working at GRACE, and little did I know how much this simple act of love and kindness would bless my heart. You may think as you were standing in the kitchen baking that this was not very much…but let me just say it meant the world to me. Your sweet hearts were being the true hands and feet of our Lord and Savior. A servants heart is like no other and I am blessed to have you all in my life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the amazing ways today in which you blessed me. This community of parents make me feel loved, valued and KNOWN every single day.

In Him, Dru Murphy
