January 28, 2020 | Amazing GRACE

Join us on February 14th from 8:20 – 9:30 a.m. at the Upper Campus Student Center for PTF’s Moments with Moms. This is a time for the women of GRACE to gather for fellowship, light refreshments, and an inspirational message “Love Letters from God” by guest speaker Michele Bandy. You’re encouraged to invite other women outside our community to attend as we celebrate Valentine’s Day together and be encouraged through a message of God’s love. All who attend will receive a handmade Valentine’s Day cookie to take home. RSVP here.

Step back into the 1920s and join us at Cypress Manor to experience a night full of jazz, feasting, and celebration as we come together to benefit the GRACE Annual Fund. This year’s Celebrate GRACE will be a night full of fun and surprises – and you will NOT want to miss out! In addition to a silent auction with exciting items available only to attendees to bid on, the evening will also feature a Live Painting by Bryn Gillette and live jazz by the Daze Work Band.

Tickets to this year’s event will go fast. So ladies and gents, be ready to get all dolled up with your 1920s-style get-ups or come dressed in black, white and gold business casual.

Grab your friends and reserve your free tickets today! (Singles, couples, and groups are all encouraged to attend.) If you are interested in serving as a table host(ess), email mbandy@gracechristian.net to sign up! We also NEED VOLUNTEERS to make the night a success! If you’d be willing to serve on our set-up, decoration or clean-up crew, sign up here.

Now is a great time to place your order for your GRACE 2019-2020 yearbook. To order, go to www.jostensyearbooks.com and search GRACE Christian in Raleigh, NC. You know you’re at the right place when you see the Grace Eagle!

Upper Campus students: The Student Council is beginning the process to elect the Student Council Executive Leadership and Class Representatives for the 2020-2021 school year. This is a great way to serve your classmates and the school community. You can find the applications online – Executive Council here and Class Representative here. The job descriptions are included with the application, but if you have any questions, feel free to contact Mrs. Stone, Mrs. MacBain, Mrs. Fitts, or a current Student Council member.

What a great night of fun, fellowship and basketball at last Friday’s annual Play4Kay event. In total, we were able to raise more than $14,000 for the Kay Yow Cancer. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make the evening a success! Click here to see pictures!

February 7
GRACE will be hosting the ACSI Regional Spelling Bee on lower campus.

February 7 | 7:45 – 8:45 a.m.

Men of GRACE: Join us for Donuts for Dads! Our guest speaker will be Larry Falivena, fellow GRACE dad and advocate for people suffering from ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease). After his own ALS diagnosis in 2017, Larry knew that he wanted to raise awareness of this disease and help raise funds for ALS research. He made national headlines by taking his family around the country this past summer to meet with other people who have been affected by ALS and tell their stories, all while visiting every Major League Baseball park – an “Iron Horse Tour.” Come join the Men of GRACE as Larry talks about his trip, his diagnosis, and what God is doing in his life. The event will be in the Student Center of the Upper Campus.
