College Connections, Issue 9

I’m not sure about you, but March felt three years long but in a weird way, I’m a bit shocked that April is already over. The landscape for college admissions continues to evolve in light of the pandemic, and I encourage you to reach out to me to discuss any questions you have about college admissions, standardized testing, AP testing, etc.  You can use the link below my signature to set up a meeting time.

For all high school students, it’s essential for you to strive to finish this semester well. Seniors, your letters of acceptance likely contains a caveat that you finish your senior year with grades that are consistent with the academic record you were admitted with. For everyone else, colleges will want to know how you used this semester to demonstrate leadership, integrity, perseverance, creativity, etc. This month’s College Connections Newsletter contains a link to an article that can help you identify all that you can do during this season rather than focusing on what you cannot do.
