Weekly Updates...

Equipping Parents: SEL

Join us on Monday, September 19, 2022 at 6 p.m. in the Chapel on Upper Campus for our first Equipping Parents event of the year. Dr. Karri Hawley, GRACE School Counselor, and Mrs. Dominique Reid, Director of LEAP at GRACE, will share recent trends in Social and Emotional Learning in school-aged children (TK-8) and introduce the Friendzy Biblical SEL (Social, Emotional Learning) Curriculum. Discussion will include how parents can support their students with healthy friendships and coping strategies.

See You at the Pole

On September 28th at 7 a.m., students nationwide will pray at the flagpoles of their schools.
Parents are also welcome to join us in prayer (the lower elementary will need a parent to accompany them). Our student leaders will introduce topics of prayer and then allow time for prayer on this topic. Depending on the turnout, we may break up into smaller groups to pray after a topic is introduced.

Troubleshooting All-School Email Issues

We have heard from a handful of individuals that they did not receive Mr. Bradley's email last week about the Code Yellow event. We are currently looking into the issue. However, if you are a gmail user, we have seen that sometimes emails are filtered to your promotions folder (and not always easily seen on a mobile phone.) Here are some tips to making sure emails from @gracechristian.net email accounts go to your primary inbox.
