Weekly Updates...

Grandparents Day: October 28th!
Make sure mimi, papa, nana and gramps have Grandparents Day on the calendar. We are so excited to be able to have our grandparents back on campus this year for a special performance by our students.

Doors will open at 7:30 a.m. for coffee and refreshments. The program begins at 9 a.m. Then, grandparents will be invited to visit the Lower Campus classrooms after the show, if they'd like. Friday is an early-release day, so grandparents are welcomed to take home their grandchildren after the classroom visits for some extra family time.

For grandparents unable to attend, the program will be recorded and a link will be shared after the event.

Looking Ahead: GCS Re-Enrollment opens November 15th

Mark your calendars! Priority Re-Enrollment for the 2023 - 2024 school year begins on November 15th!  Priority applications for siblings of current students, will also open on November 15th.

Due to capacity enrollment and lengthy wait pools this year, it is imperative that current GRACE families re-enroll as early as possible to secure an enrollment seat for the 2023-2024 school year. New families applying on December 1 will be considered for available enrollment seats. Your student is known, valued and loved at GRACE and it is our prayer that you will continue to partner with us.

If you have any questions about priority re-enrollment, please reach out to our admissions team at [email protected].

Author Visit: Scott Reintgen

Scott Reintgen is coming to GRACE for a writer-in-residence program from November 1-3rd. Scott is the author of science fiction and fantasy books for middle grade students and young adults. He lives in Cary, NC, and is the grandson of David and Marilyn Martin, who donated the land where our lower campus building now stands.

While on campus, he will participate in middle and high school chapels, a 5th and 6th grade assembly, as well as three writing workshops for aspiring writers. Each workshop will be limited to 15 participants. The signup sheet will be sent to upper campus students on Friday, October 21, 2022.

Families can purchase books in advance through Quail Ridge, an independent bookstore in Raleigh. GRACE families will receive a 19% discount if they use coupon code GRACE19 at checkout.
  • Books ordered by Friday, Oct. 21, will be personalized and signed by Scott Reintgen and delivered during his visit.
  • Books ordered between Oct. 22 and Nov. 4 will be signed by Scott Reintgen and delivered after his visit.
  • Students may also bring their own Reintgen books from home for him to sign during the event.
