What's my why?
In 2009, my husband and I felt God's leading to move across the country from Southern California to help with a church plant. As we stepped out in faith, God led us to an exciting opportunity for both of us to teach at GRACE. After 5 incredible years of teaching kindergarten here, God began to expand our family through adoption.  With this unique call of adoption, we felt it best that I stay home, with the hope that God would open up a door for me at GRACE down the road.  My husband, Isaiah, continued working at GRACE in administration, which allowed me to stay connected to the GRACE community.  In the meantime, I continued to work with children and tutor on the side.  After three adoptions, the Lord opened an amazing opportunity to come back to work as the early intervention teacher and assistant to the Christian Life Director. I see it as a daily privilege to help inspire students to grow both spiritually and academically.  I am also blessed that two of my own children attend GRACE and feel known, valued, and loved by the teachers and faculty.  I look forward to all God has for this school year and getting to know the GRACE students and families again.
