Meet Mrs. Amy Herring

Having taught history in public schools (middle and high) for several years, as well as serving over 7 years in a church as a Minister to children, youth, and families, GRACE is the intersection of my passions—my love of history and students—with my faith and what I believe is my God-given calling—teaching. My hope and prayer for my students is that they will grow not only in knowledge, wisdom, and character, but also in faith—that they will believe they are “known, valued, and loved” by God (and by me), and will learn to hear and to follow God’s call on their lives—accepting and believing the Good News of Jesus Christ, developing a biblical worldview, and serving and loving God and others through their words, thoughts, and actions.
