Adventure Camps

Adventure Camps serve as the anchor for GRACE Summer Camps. Each day is started off with an opening assembly where the campers gather to learn what adventure awaits. Daily Bible stories and music set the tone for the adventures. Theme-based crafts, games, and activities are planned for the campers to enjoy daily. Typically, Monday and Wednesdays are pool days, Tuesdays welcome in-house visitors, Thursdays are for field trips, and on Fridays a special adventure is planned. 

Safari Adventures
This GRACE camp is based on the theme of going on a safari. Daily activities will be based on the theme. Highlights of the week include a “Zoo to You” in-house field trip (hands on with live animals) and a trip to the NC Zoo. This camp is how we kick off a fantastic summer.

 

Secret Scientist Adventures
 This GRACE camp is based on the theme of science. Daily activities will be based on this theme. Highlights for the week include a Suzy Science in-house visitor, and a trip to the Durham Museum of Life and Science. This is no experiment, your kids will love it!

 

 

 

Olympic Adventures
This GRACE camp is all about life as an Olympian. Daily activities will be based on this theme. Highlights for the week include a trip to Marbles and DefyGravity, and a debut Camp Olympics. This camp promises to bring in the gold!

 

Super Hero Adventures
This GRACE camp is self-acclaimed with its title. Highlights for the week include a Super Hero games, a trip to Defy Gravity, Hill Ridge Farms, and Pullen Park. This camp is nothing short of extraordinary!

 

 

 World Adventure
This GRACE camp is based on the theme of exploring the world. Daily activities will be based on this theme. Highlights for the week include international visitors, Carolina Tiger Rescue, Pelican’s Snoballs, and a trip to the Morehead Planetarium.

 

Wet and Wild Adventures

This GRACE camp is based on the theme of water. Daily activities will be based on this theme. Our biggest and final field trip of the summer is to Wet ‘n Wild Waterpark! For increased safety, this is a family trip, so plan on joining the fun! This camp is truly a summer classic. 

 

These camps are planned for full day campers (9-4pm), however, we are able to accept campers based on a half day option (9-12pm or 1-4pm), but there are no guarantees that certain field trips and activities will be available during the half day selected. Early bird registration cost is $235 by April 1st. After April 1st the price is $250. Before care and after care options will be available.
