TK-6 (Lower Campus) Online Resources:

  • BrainPop: Learning tools for teachers and students (STEM, social studies, English, arts & music for 4th-8th grde). 
  • BrainPop Jr.: Learning tools for teachers and K-3rd grade students (reading/writing, STEM, social studies, English, arts & technology). 
  • Classroom Video on Demand: Over 6,000 hours of video in many subjects (science, math, language, and more).
  • Country Reports: Information about states and countries around the world (grades 3-12).
  • Culturegrams: Information about states and countries around the world (grades 3-12).
  • Encyclopedia Britannica: Three general reference encyclopedias (grades K-12).
  • Encyclopedia Britannica ImageQuest: Millions of copyright-cleared images (grades K-12).
  • FactCite: General information databases (American history; biographies on sports figures, Roman and Greek mythology for grades 5-12; and animals, science, US states, foreign countries, and biographies, especially geared for grades 2-4). 
  • PebbleGo: Information about animals, biographies, social sciences, and science (grades K-4).
  • PebbleGoNext: Information about US states, science, social studies, and Native Americans (grades 4-8).
  • PowerKnowledge: Life SciencesPhysical Sciences, and Earth/Space Science (grades 4-8.)
  • Student Resources in Context: Current information on many topics: humanities, social sciences, US history, and world history (grade 6-12).

7-12 (Upper Campus) Online Resources:

Mrs. Gehringer and Mr. O’Brien also encourage all students to use the Wake County Public Library databases and Johnston County databases. All students are required to have a current public library card in the county where they live.

Print Resoures: The Lower Campus Library and the Upper Campus Library have a variety of print resources. To locate them, use the library’s catalog called Destiny. Destiny allows students and families to search the library catalog from home using a Web browser and an Internet connection. The catalog can be searched without using a username or password.
