Applications for the 2025 - 2026 school will open on November 20th at 8:00 am.
*Please note that you must have a completed Inquiry Form before you will have access to the application.

Submitting an Application for the 2025-2026 school year.
- Siblings of current GRACE students can submit their application prior to open enrollment. Current GRACE families will receive an email in mid/late November for siblings to apply.
- Applications for new families open November 20th at 8:00 am.
- Application Fee: $125 per student (non-refundable)
- Enrollment Fee: Due within 48 hours of acceptance - $900 per student.
*Admissions fees are one-time fees and are non-refundable. Please be sure to review the associated fees and financial commitment when applying at GRACE. By submitting the application, you are acknowledging the financial commitment including the withdrawal policy.
Requirements for Applying
- All prospective families must have an account in our Blackbaud system in order to access the application. If you do not have a Blackbaud account, please complete an inquiry form. Please note that you must submit the non-refundable $125 fee with your application.

- Prior to submitting an application, please ensure your student meets the required cut-off dates for admission and review the wait pool here and withdrawal policies (located below). If you are interested in our LEAP program space must be available both in the classroom as well as the LEAP program.
- The following documents are required for your application to be considered complete. Incomplete or inaccurate information will be grounds for rejection of the applicant or dismissal of the student.
- Copy of Birth Certificate
- Last year's end-of-year report card (with teacher comments)
- Current report card (with teacher comments)
- Copy of Current High School Transcript with a GPA of 2.5 or higher (for prospective students entering 10th, 11th, and 12th grade)
- Most recent end-of-grade test results, achievement test results, and other standardized test scores
- Copies of testing, evaluations, psychological reports, curriculum modifications, and individualized education plans (IEP), if applicable
- Copy of all custody papers, if applicable
- Confidential Recommendation Forms: Please enter email addresses for recommendations. This will be located on the admissions checklist. *Note: Students who are homeschooled and have recently participated in a co-op or out-of-the-home class, should supply the co-op teacher email with their application.
- Recommendations required by grade level:
- Grades 1-6: Core Subject Teacher, Adult Mentor, Special Education Resource Teacher (if applicable)
- Grades 7-12: Most recent English Teacher, Math Teacher, Guidance Counselor, Adult Mentor, Special Education Resource Teacher (if applicable)
- TK-K: Preschool Teacher, Special Education Resource Teacher (if applicable)

- Admission Entrance Process

- Qualified candidates applying for Transitional Kindergarten(TK) - 3rd grade will be contacted to schedule an in-person Admissions Screening at GRACE.
- Please note at the discretion of the Admissions Committee, students may be invited to participate in a classroom experience.
- Qualified candidates applying to 1st-6th will also be contacted to schedule an in-person reading assessment at GRACE.
- Students applying for 4th - 12th Grade are required to complete the at-home Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE).
- Students can take the ISEE before applying to expedite the admissions process.
- Your student may take the ISEE at any testing site, Prometric testing center, or at home. Fees vary; please visit the ISEE website for additional information or to schedule your child’s testing.
- Please be sure to select GRACE as one of the schools to receive their ISEE score report.
- If you have any questions regarding the ISEE test, testing site, fees, scheduling, procedures, etc, please contact ISEE directly.
- Admission Interview

- Qualified candidates for 7th - 12th grade will be invited to an in-person family interview once the Admissions Entrance process is complete, this includes receipt of all required documents. The family interview should be attended by the student and both parents. The interview is our opportunity to get to know one another and to determine the extent of a good match between the school and the student.
- Family interviews may be conducted virtually if a family is living outside of North Carolina.
- TK - 6th grade students will be invited to a Meet and Greet with Eric Bradley, Headmaster, Dr. Lynnae Morris, Lower Campus Principal, and other members of the administrative team.
- Qualified candidates for 7th - 12th grade will be invited to an in-person family interview once the Admissions Entrance process is complete, this includes receipt of all required documents. The family interview should be attended by the student and both parents. The interview is our opportunity to get to know one another and to determine the extent of a good match between the school and the student.
4. Admissions Decision

- Notification of a decision will be made by our Admissions Committee and you will be contacted via email.
- Upon acceptance, the enrollment packet and non-refundable enrollment fee must be submitted within 48 hours to secure your student's enrollment seat.
Withdrawal Policy
Withdrawal Policy (Current GRACE Families)
*Please note that the withdrawal policy may change for the 2025 - 2026 school year and will be updated prior to applications opening on November 20th.
- Families who choose to withdraw their student between March 1, and June 30, will be responsible for a late withdrawal penalty of 25% of each student’s annual tuition.
- Families who choose to withdraw their student between July 1, and December 31, will be responsible for a late withdrawal penalty of 50% of each student’s annual tuition.
- Families who choose to withdraw their student after December 31, will be responsible for a late withdrawal penalty of 100% of each student’s annual tuition.
- All tuition prepayments (made as part of the re-enrollment process) are non-refundable.
Withdrawal Policy (New GRACE Families)
- Families who enroll for the next school year and choose to withdraw their student before the first day of school will be responsible for 10% of each student's annual tuition.
- Families who enroll, begin school, and choose to withdraw their student before December 31, will be responsible for a late withdrawal penalty of 50% of each student's annual tuition.

Cut-Off Dates: 2024-2025 School Year
The following cut-off dates will be observed for students entering Transitional Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and 1st Grade for the 2024-2025 school year.
Transitional Kindergarten
- Students who turn 5 years old between September 1 and December 31 will be processed as a TK Applicant. *We kindly ask that your TK student be potty trained prior to enrolling at GRACE.
Kindergarten
- Students who turn 5 years old between January 1 and August 31 will be processed as a Kindergarten Applicant. *We kindly ask that your Kindergarten student be potty trained prior to enrolling at GRACE.
1st Grade
Students who turn 6 years old by August 31, 2024, and have completed a Kindergarten program.
