GRACE Field Day... presented by Eco Turf!
Field Day is right around the corner for our TK-5th grade Eagles. Our students will enjoy a day of fun, fellowship and friendly competition thanks to our 2023 Field Day Presenting Sponsor, Eco Turf. With nearly 20 years of experience throughout North Carolina, Eco Turf is an experienced and knowledgeable provider of sound erosion management techniques and practices.
Field Day is scheduled for May 12th with a rain date of May 19th. Thanks to Eco Turf, all GCS TK - 5th Grade students will receive a free 2023 Field Day T-shirt and a delicious frozen treat.

Next Friday, May 5th will be the last PTF Spirit event of the year. The owner of FRESH Local Ice Cream (Cary location)138 E Chatham Street, Cary, NC 27511 will be donating 15% of all sales from 12pm-5pm that day to the GRACE PTF. No flyer needed. It’s an early release day, so make plans to meet up with your GCS friends for an afternoon of ice cream and fellowship! See you at FRESH!
Upper Campus Locker Clean-out
If you were assigned a locker this year, please have it totally cleaned out and wiped down by the end of school on May 19, 2023. Please ask one of your teachers to check your locker once it is cleared and have them check you off as having a cleaned out locker. If you'd rather have Mrs. Bostic check you off after school, she is available after 3:30 pm each day (except on May 5th). Please email her at [email protected]net to let her know what day you will be ready to have your locker checked. If you are not sure if you were assigned a locker, check your schedule on RenWeb, it will be listed there. If you have any questions, stop by the front desk or email. Thank you!
Art Competition Voting
GRACE Senior Anastasia Kholobayev's artwork, "My Thoughts Are Alive," is one of the entries in the Congressional Art Competition.

Second Semester Exam Schedule
Upper Campus students - you can find the exam schedule for second semester here.
Yearbook Ordering
Online yearbook ordering will be turned off at noon on Friday, May 5th. People should make an effort to get their orders in before school gets out on May 5. Yearbooks may still be purchased after that, but you will have to bring a check to the Upper Campus. If you want the ease of ordering online, it must be done prior to noon on May 5.

Duke Games
Duke football starts in the fall, and I am attaching the schedule and sign-up genius in case any of the kids want to sign up. They require an email address from them and a background check (if they are 16 years of age or older) by beginning of August if they want to participate.
