We look forward to seeing you there!

All donors receive a total of $30 in eGift cards! Everyone in the community is welcome- staff, spouses, friends, parents, and students age 16+! 16 year olds must bring this parent consent form printed and signed.

GCS Middle School Students Win NC State Wearable Device Challenge

IMG-20230411-125523326-HDR
Congratulations to the GCS Middle School Tech Trends class! Our students won second place for their "Comfy Cast" prototype in the Wearable Device Challenge at NC State. The challenge is hosted annually by the ASSIST center.  Students were "tasked with designing a wearable device to monitor the health of a human or animal based on environmental factors and/or disease transmission."  GRACE students created a cast that uses a temperature and humidity sensor to monitor conditions within the cast.  If the temperature or humidity is too high a cooling system will activate.

T-Shirt Design Content Winners

Congratulations GRACE Christian visual artists for placing in the 2023 Joey O’ Classic Cystic Fibrosis Bocce Tournament T-shirt Design Competition.  There were over 75 entries this year. GRACE had finalists from both campuses and multiple grades. And, the winner was a GRACE student! Congratulations to 7th grader Lauren Clark for her winning CURE CF lungs design. Her design will be featured on this year’s t-shirts. Lauren and her family will receive recognition for her design at the Tournament on April 30th at Cardinal Gibbons, bocce tickets for her family to play, dinner at the pairings party, lunch at the Tournament, and, of course, t-shirts.

Business Partner Coffee Connections

GRACE business leaders, make plans to join us on Friday, April 21st at the Upper Campus Chapel for Coffee Connection. In addition of a time to network with fellow GRACE parents, we will be hearing GCS teacher Amy Stevens and a group of students about the school's District C program - a valuable entrepreneurship/teamship program for our high school students. We have big plans of making GCS one of the go-to schools for budding entrepreneurs and we are excited to share more about how our GRACE business owners and leaders can be a part of that journey.
