What’s my why?

From the very first year teaching at GRACE (2003) I have enjoyed watching students mature in their character and faith. And to be part of that is a blessing from God. As a science teacher, I have the opportunity to reveal God’s creation, while at the same time preparing students for challenges that often arise from the secular world as it relates to science. It is often thought that teachers were the gifted students in high school and college, but in my case, that was not always true. Because I had to overcome learning difficulties, I recognize students who tend to struggle, so doing, I provide instruction to improve their chances to succeed. Each year my goal is to inspire, motivate and challenge students to develop their ability to think critically in order to solve world problems.
