Band

The instrumental music program at GRACE provides students in grades 5-12 the opportunity to participate in band.  

 

Band
Students can start band as early as 5th grade and continue in band though twelfth grade. The performing groups we have are as follows:

  • 5th Grade Band
  • 6th Grade Band
  • 7th/8th Grade Band
  • High School Band

The 5th and 6th grade bands have several performances a year. They include: Grandparents’ Day in the fall, the Christmas program, and a concert in the spring. The 6th grade band also participates in the Carowinds Festival of Arts.

The 7th/8th and High School groups put on several concerts per year. Performance opportunities include Grandparents’ Day, the Christmas Concert, chapel performances, and the Spring Concert. The 7th/8th and High School Bands also participate on the Carowinds Festival of Arts.
